Vivekachudamani 180

atah prahurmano'vidyam panditastattvadarsinah | 

yenaiva bhramyate visvam vayunevabhramandalam || 

(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 180) 

Hence the wise who know the Truth declares the mind itself as ignorance (avidya). By this alone, the universe of experience is tossed around like the clouds before the wind.

Oleh karena itu orang bijak yang mengetahui Kebenaran menyatakan pikiran itu sendiri sebagai ketidaktahuan (avidya). Dengan ini saja, pengalaman alam semesta terombang-ambing seperti awan sebelum angin.

ஆகவே சத்தியத்தை அறிந்த ஞானிகள் மனதை அறியாமை (அவித்யா) என்று அறிவிக்கிறார்கள். இதன் மூலம், அனுபவத்தின் பிரபஞ்சம் காற்றுக்கு முன்னால் மேகங்களைப் போல தூக்கி எறியப்படுகிறது.
