pratitirjivajagatoh svapnavadbhati yavata |

O learned one! As long as even a dream-like perception of the world of objects and of the experiencing ego persists, continuously strive to put an end to all your superimposition.

False ego is what makes us think that our self and our external body are one and the same. The reality is that we are all spiritual. We don't die. Without understanding that, we think, "This body is who I am." We think our temporary bodily labels—white, black, tall, short, young, old, man, woman—apply to us.

We're made of spiritual energy, which means that we're eternal and conscious. Spiritual energy is superior to the temporary, unconscious matter our bodies are made of. False ego is the most subtle feature of the inferior, material energy. It's the very point of contact between spirit and matter. It's what keeps us tied to repeated births and deaths.

நாம் ஆன்மீக ஆற்றலால் ஆனோம், அதாவது நாம் நித்தியமானவர்களாகவும் நனவாகவும் இருக்கிறோம். ஆன்மீக ஆற்றல் நம் உடல்கள் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட தற்காலிக, மயக்கமற்ற விஷயத்தை விட உயர்ந்தது. தவறான ஈகோ என்பது தாழ்ந்த, பொருள் ஆற்றலின் மிக நுட்பமான அம்சமாகும். இது ஆவிக்கும் பொருளுக்கும் இடையிலான தொடர்பின் முக்கிய புள்ளியாகும். இதுதான் நம்மை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பிறப்பு மற்றும் இறப்புகளுடன் பிணைக்க வைக்கிறது.
