Vivekachudamani 56

na yogena na sankhyena karmama no na vidyaya | 
brahmatmaikatvabodhena moksah sidhyati nanyatha || 
(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 56)

Neither by Yoga, nor by Sankhya, nor by action, nor by learning, is liberation possible. Only by the realization of the oneness of the Brahman (Absolute) and the Atman (Self) is liberation possible, and in no other way*.

*Sankara takes his unqualified stance on Advaita (non-dualism) in this categorical verse. The reason liberation is not attained by Yoga, Sankhya or action (yoga) is because these systems postulate duality, which is ultimately the product of ignorance. Unless one realizes one‘s identity with Brahman, one is still operating within the domain of duality and is thus not released from the bondage of separative existence. Also, see verse 6. Says a key verse in Mandukyopanisad (I.7.xvii): ―Mayamatram idam dwaitam, advaitam parmarthah:‖ This duality is mere illusion. Non-duality alone is the Supreme Reality.

So the Absolute Truth is realized in three different features, according to the capacity of realization of the Person. Those who are trying to approach the Absolute Truth by the exercise of the senses, they can reach up to the point of impersonal Brahman. Those who are searching out the Absolute Truth by meditation, by mystic yogic practices, they can realize the Paramatma feature of the Absolute Truth. And those who are engaged in devotional service, they realize the Absolute Truth as the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Actually, we have to reach to the point of Personality of Godhead, person. Before that, Brahman realization and Paramatma realization, that is a partial realization of the Absolute Truth. Because Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita, brahmanah aham pratistha. The impersonal Brahman is resting on Krsna. Just like the sunshine. Sunshine is very all-embracing, wide, widely spread all over the universe, the sunshine. But the sunshine is resting on the sun globe. We see the sun globe, localized. It is floating in one corner of this universal sky. But the sunshine is covering the whole universe. That does not mean the sunshine is more important than the sun globe. And if you can penetrate within the sun globe, then you'll find it is sun-god.

One has to come to the understanding of the Supreme Lord, otherwise, it is not possible for anyone to get Moksha or liberation. It is wrong to say that Hindus liberate after death. Mosha only possible when we surrender and serve the Lord every moment of our life. Simply being Hindu we cannot get liberation. Some artificial religions in this world saying that if you become Muhammadians or Christians you will get heaven for sure. This is bogus teaching. Heaven or hell should be decided by the Supreme Lord not by simply joining them. A club cannot decide on your destination.

Baik dengan Yoga, atau dengan Sankhya, atau dengan tindakan, atau dengan belajar, adalah pembebasan yang mungkin. Hanya dengan perwujudan keesaan Brahman (Mutlak) dan Atman (Diri) yang memungkinkan pembebasan, dan tidak dengan cara lain *.

Jadi Kebenaran Mutlak diwujudkan dalam tiga fitur yang berbeda, sesuai dengan kapasitas realisasi Pribadi. Mereka yang berusaha mendekati Kebenaran Mutlak dengan melatih indra, mereka dapat mencapai titik Brahman yang impersonal. Mereka yang mencari Kebenaran Mutlak dengan meditasi, dengan praktik yoga mistik, mereka dapat menyadari fitur Paramatma dari Kebenaran Mutlak. Dan mereka yang terlibat dalam pelayanan bhakti, mereka menyadari Kebenaran Mutlak sebagai Personalitas Tertinggi Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.

Sebenarnya, kita harus mencapai titik Personalitas Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, pribadi. Sebelum itu, realisasi Brahman dan realisasi Paramatma, yaitu sebagian realisasi dari Kebenaran Mutlak. Karena Krsna mengatakan dalam Bhagavad-gita, brahmanah aham pratistha. Brahman impersonal sedang beristirahat di Krsna. Persis seperti sinar matahari. Sinar matahari sangat merangkul, luas, tersebar luas di seluruh alam semesta, sinar matahari. Tapi sinar matahari beristirahat di dunia matahari. Kami melihat bola matahari, terlokalisasi. Itu mengambang di salah satu sudut langit universal ini. Tapi sinar matahari menutupi seluruh alam semesta. Itu tidak berarti sinar matahari lebih penting daripada bola matahari. Dan jika Anda bisa menembus dalam bola matahari, maka Anda akan menemukan itu adalah dewa matahari.

Seseorang harus sampai pada pemahaman tentang Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, jika tidak, tidak mungkin bagi siapa pun untuk mendapatkan Moksha atau pembebasan. Adalah salah untuk mengatakan bahwa umat Hindu membebaskan setelah kematian. Mosha hanya mungkin ketika kita menyerah dan melayani Tuhan setiap saat dalam hidup kita. Menjadi Hindu kita tidak bisa mendapatkan pembebasan. Beberapa agama palsu di dunia ini mengatakan bahwa jika Anda menjadi Muhammad atau Kristen, Anda pasti akan mendapatkan surga. Ini adalah pengajaran palsu. Surga atau neraka harus diputuskan oleh Tuhan Yang Maha Esa bukan hanya dengan bergabung dengan mereka. Klub tidak dapat memutuskan tujuan Anda.

யோகாவாலும், சாங்கியாவாலும், செயலினாலும், கற்றலினாலும் விடுதலை சாத்தியமில்லை. பிரம்மம் (முழுமையானது) மற்றும் ஆத்மா (சுய) ஆகியவற்றின் ஒற்றுமையை உணர்ந்தால்தான் விடுதலை சாத்தியமாகும், வேறு வழியில்லை *.

* சங்கரா இந்த வகைப்படுத்தப்பட்ட வசனத்தில் அத்வைதம் (இரட்டைவாதம்) குறித்த தனது தகுதியற்ற நிலைப்பாட்டை எடுக்கிறார். விடுதலையை யோகா, சாங்க்யா அல்லது செயல் (யோகா) அடையவில்லை என்பதற்கான காரணம், இந்த அமைப்புகள் இருமைத்தன்மையை முன்வைப்பதால், இது இறுதியில் அறியாமையின் விளைவாகும். ஒருவர் பிரம்மத்துடன் ஒருவரின் அடையாளத்தை உணராவிட்டால், ஒருவர் இன்னும் இருமையின் களத்திற்குள் இயங்குகிறார், இதனால் பிரிப்பு இருப்புக்கான பிணைப்பிலிருந்து விடுவிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. மேலும், 6 வது வசனத்தைப் பாருங்கள். இருமையற்ற தன்மை மட்டுமே உச்ச உண்மை.

எனவே நபரை உணர்ந்து கொள்ளும் திறனுக்கு ஏற்ப முழுமையான உண்மை மூன்று வெவ்வேறு அம்சங்களில் உணரப்படுகிறது. புலன்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் முழுமையான சத்தியத்தை அணுக முயற்சிப்பவர்கள், அவர்கள் ஆள்மாறான பிரம்மத்தின் நிலையை அடைய முடியும். முழுமையான சத்தியத்தை தியானத்தின் மூலம், மாய யோக நடைமுறைகளால் தேடுகிறவர்கள், முழுமையான சத்தியத்தின் பரமாத்மா அம்சத்தை உணர முடியும். மேலும் பக்தி சேவையில் ஈடுபடுபவர்கள், முழுமையான சத்தியத்தை கடவுளின் உயர்ந்த ஆளுமை என்று உணர்கிறார்கள்.

உண்மையில், நாம் கடவுளின் ஆளுமை, நபரின் நிலையை அடைய வேண்டும். அதற்கு முன், பிரம்ம உணர்தல் மற்றும் பரமாத்மா உணர்தல், இது முழுமையான சத்தியத்தின் ஒரு பகுதி உணர்தல். பகவத் கீதையில் கிருஷ்ணர் சொல்வதால், பிராமண அஹம் பிரதிஸ்தா. ஆள்மாறான பிரம்மம் கிருஷ்ணாவில் ஓய்வெடுக்கிறார். சூரிய ஒளி போல. சன்ஷைன் மிகவும் அனைத்தையும் தழுவி, அகலமாக, பிரபஞ்சம் முழுவதும் பரவலாக பரவுகிறது, சூரிய ஒளி. ஆனால் சூரிய ஒளி சூரிய உலகில் ஓய்வெடுக்கிறது. சூரிய பூகோளத்தை, உள்ளூர்மயமாக்கியுள்ளோம். இந்த உலகளாவிய வானத்தின் ஒரு மூலையில் அது மிதக்கிறது. ஆனால் சூரிய ஒளி முழு பிரபஞ்சத்தையும் உள்ளடக்கியது. சூரிய பூகோளத்தை விட சூரிய ஒளி முக்கியமானது என்று அர்த்தமல்ல. நீங்கள் சூரிய பூகோளத்திற்குள் ஊடுருவ முடிந்தால், அது சூரியக் கடவுள் என்று நீங்கள் காண்பீர்கள்.

ஒருவர் உச்ச இறைவனைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும், இல்லையெனில், யாருக்கும் மோட்சம் அல்லது விடுதலை கிடைப்பது சாத்தியமில்லை. இந்துக்கள் மரணத்திற்குப் பிறகு விடுவிக்கிறார்கள் என்று சொல்வது தவறு. நம் வாழ்க்கையின் ஒவ்வொரு தருணத்திலும் நாம் சரணடைந்து இறைவனை சேவிக்கும்போது மட்டுமே மோஷா சாத்தியமாகும். வெறுமனே இந்து என்பதால் நாம் விடுதலையைப் பெற முடியாது. இந்த உலகில் உள்ள சில செயற்கை மதங்கள் நீங்கள் முஹம்மதியர்களாகவோ அல்லது கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகவோ மாறினால் நிச்சயமாக உங்களுக்கு சொர்க்கம் கிடைக்கும் என்று கூறுகிறார்கள். இது போலி கற்பித்தல். சொர்க்கம் அல்லது நரகத்தை உச்ச இறைவனால் தீர்மானிக்க வேண்டும். உங்கள் இலக்கை ஒரு கிளப் தீர்மானிக்க முடியாது.
