Indeed, it is the very nature of the magnanimous ones to help remove the troubles of others, even as the moon of its own accord cools the earth scorched by the flaming rays of the sun.

Guru should try and try and try even if his disciple refuses to learn, he should not discard him but should slowly work with him removing bits and chips of sins slowly and putting in small-small pieces of truth. But with all these responsibilities, a guru has a right to enter the room of his disciple at any time without knocking or without informing so as to catch him if he is doing anything wrong at any point of time. This also results in unconditional devotion to a teacher from his disciple side and vice versa so as to create a bond which is strong and which can withstand test and trials of time.

This power also comes with a rider- a Spiritual guru should never ever indulge in deception or fraud or cheating with his student and should always maintain a rock-solid character. If a guru fears that his character may be compromised than he should immediately excuse himself from being the guru. Also, it is the responsibility of a guru to take on the world, to take on the might god himself in order to protect his disciple. He should not fear anyone, literally anyone and should leave no ground untouched to protect his disciple.

Also, if a Spiritual (guru) is saying something which continuously happens to be false than he is longer eligible to be a Spiritual master. Also if a teacher treads wrong paths than it is the duty of the disciple to bring him back on the right track. It is just like a railway train with engine and subsequent bogies. If the engine is leading the train to the wrong lane than it is the responsibility of the bogies to take the engine on the right track if possible else derail the engine.

The guru is one of the most important links between a human being and the almighty and all precautions should be taken to maintain its sanctity as a guru gone awry will wreak havoc not only on his own life but also on the lives of his disciple and subsequently the lives their families. Also, as this concerns the life of many people before taking any decision a student should test his decision to prosecute the guru and thus should make a decision in the rush of blood or should make an informed decision.

The guru also has the power to give capital punishment to his disciples if the disciple is going wrong but he should do it in extreme conditions. Instead, he should reject the student and should not count him as his disciple.

A guru has a heavy-duty to protect his disciple by burning himself to enlighten his disciple in the transcendental path. It is similar to the moon which cools the earth by burning itself from the rays of the sun.
