Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 485

क्व गतं केन वा नीतं कुत्र लीनमिदं जगत् ।

अधुनैव मया दृष्टं नास्ति किं महदद्भुतम् ॥

kva gataṃ kena vā nītaṃ kutra līnamidaṃ jagat |

adhunaiva mayā dṛṣṭaṃ nāsti kiṃ mahadadbhutam |

(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 485)

Where has it gone, who has removed it, where has the universe merged? Just now it was seen by me; has it now ceased to be? The wonder of wonders!

Whither has this world of sorrow gone? what has taken it away? whither has it dissolved? Now I see that it no longer is — a mighty wonder!

People being too materialistic and forgetting the real position of the soul. Due to ignorance, we are suffering. Where is the people in the world going?
