अखण्डानन्दमात्मानं विज्ञाय स्वस्वरूपतः ।
किमिच्छन् कस्य वा हेतोर्देहं पुष्णाति तत्त्ववित् ॥
akhaṇḍānandamātmānaṃ vijñāya svasvarūpataḥ |

(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 419)
Having known the Supreme Lord which is indivisible Bliss, to be one‘s very own Self, with what motive or for whom will the knower of Truth cherish the body.
The Supreme Lord is the owner of each and every soul in the entire cosmic manifestation, always hankering that we are with him. For example, Our parents will feel separated when we are far away for years. This separation is in this material world. But in the spiritual world, the Lord always missing us but we are so stubborn, we do not think of going back to the Lord. We are simply trying to enjoy the artificial life and take birth again and again. As soon as we know that the body which the soul living in currently is not the real body because it is temporary. The eternal bliss for us is with the Supreme Lord.
