(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 427)
On account of constant absorption in Brahman, freed from the sense of the reality of external objects, only seemingly enjoying them when offered by others, like one sleepy or like a baby, perceiving the world as one seen in a dream and recognizing it only now and then, such a person is indeed rare. Such a person is the enjoyer of the fruits of infinite merits and is truly considered blessed and revered on earth.
Those who are fully surrendered to the Supreme Personality of Godhead will not hanker for any sense of gratification. They do not attach worldly pleasures. They will accept some material benefits such as Dakshina or food only if someone willingly offers them.
Although they accept some benefits now and then but they take it as a dream within reality is not true. They do not soak in such low attachments. Such people are very rare in this world. By taking shelter or serving such a pure devotee, considered as blessed and gifted
