sadaikarupasya cidatmano vibho-
ranandamurteranavadyakirteh |
naivanyatha kvapyavikarinaste
vinahamadhyasamamusya sassrtih ||

But for your identification with the ego-sense, there cannot be any transmigration for you, who are Immutable and eternally the same Knowledge-Absolute, omnipresent, of unsullied glory, and Bliss-Absolute.

The pride and ego which we are carrying with us are not attached to our soul. There is no reason why an intelligent human being need to carry egoistic(ahamkara) with him/her. By doing such a stupid act one has to suffer again and again in this material world.

Sankara is advising the disciples here, "you are that". You are suffering because of your own agitations. The agitations are caused by the ego in you. In the gross and subtle projections, the idea "I am this", is the only cause that makes you suffer. Hence, give up this tragic and ruinous ego-sense (ahamkara)

What is to be done next, is advised in the following verse.

Dalam proyeksi kasar dan halus, gagasan "Aku adalah ini", adalah satu-satunya penyebab yang membuatmu menderita. Karena itu, tinggalkan ahamkara yang tragis dan hancur ini

சங்கரா இங்குள்ள சீடர்களுக்கு, "நீங்கள் அதுதான்" என்று அறிவுறுத்துகிறார். உங்கள் சொந்த கிளர்ச்சிகளால் நீங்கள் பாதிக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள். உங்களிலுள்ள ஈகோவால் கிளர்ச்சிகள் ஏற்படுகின்றன. மொத்த மற்றும் நுட்பமான திட்டங்களில், "நான் இதுதான்" என்ற எண்ணமே உங்களை கஷ்டப்படுத்துகிறது. எனவே, இந்த துயரமான மற்றும் அழிவுகரமான ஈகோ-உணர்வை (அஹம்காரா) விட்டுவிடுங்கள்
