ahampadarthastvahamadisaksi
nityam susuptavapi bhavadarsanat |
brute hyajo nitya iti srutih svayam
tatpratyagatma sadasadvilaksanah ||

But the real "I" witnesses the ego etc. and is always there, even in deep sleep. "It is Unborn, Eternal," as the Sruti itself says. It is the inmost Self, different from the (relative) truth and untruth.

The spirit soul bewildered by the influence of false ego thinks himself the doer of activities that are in actuality carried out by the three modes of material nature. He does not know that the mechanism of the body is produced by material nature, which works under the supervision of the Supreme Lord. The materialistic person has no knowledge that ultimately he is under the control of Kṛṣṇa. The person in false ego takes all credit for doing everything independently, and that is the symptom of his nescience.

Tapi "aku" yang asli menyaksikan ego dll dan selalu ada, bahkan dalam tidur nyenyak. "Itu adalah Unborn, Eternal," seperti yang dikatakan oleh Sruti. Ini adalah Diri yang paling dalam, berbeda dari kebenaran (relatif) dan ketidakbenaran.

Jiwa roh yang bingung oleh pengaruh ego palsu menganggap dirinya pelaku kegiatan yang pada kenyataannya dilakukan oleh tiga sifat alam material. Dia tidak tahu bahwa mekanisme tubuh diproduksi oleh alam material, yang bekerja di bawah pengawasan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. ஆனால் உண்மையான "நான்" ஈகோ போன்றவற்றிற்கு சாட்சி. ஆழ்ந்த தூக்கத்தில் கூட எப்போதும் இருக்கும். ஸ்ருதியே சொல்வது போல் "இது பிறக்காதது, நித்தியமானது". இது (உறவினர்) உண்மை மற்றும் பொய்யிலிருந்து வேறுபட்டது.

பொய்யான ஈகோவின் செல்வாக்கால் திகைத்துப்போன ஆவி ஆத்மா, பொருள் இயற்கையின் மூன்று முறைகளால் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் செயல்களைச் செய்பவர் என்று தன்னை நினைத்துக்கொள்கிறது. உடலின் பொறிமுறையானது பொருள் இயற்கையால் தயாரிக்கப்படுகிறது என்பது அவருக்குத் தெரியாது, இது உச்ச இறைவனின் மேற்பார்வையின் கீழ் செயல்படுகிறது. பொருள்முதல்வாத நபருக்கு இறுதியில் அவர் கியாவின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் இருக்கிறார் என்பது தெரியாது. பொய்யான ஈகோவில் உள்ளவர் எல்லாவற்றையும் சுயாதீனமாகச் செய்ததற்கான அனைத்து வரவுகளையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்கிறார், அதுவே அவரது அறிவியலின் அறிகுறியாகும்.
