Vivekachudamani 291

yatraisa jagadabhaso darpanantah puram yatha |
tadbrahmahamiti jñatva krtakrtyo bhavisyasi ||
(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 291)

That in which there is the 'illusion' of the universe, like a 'city (reflected) in the mirror,' that Brahman you are! Knowing this, attain the fulfillment of your life.

The whole material world which we are living is the reflection of the spiritual world. All the living beings in the spiritual world are eternal and they are the associate of the Supreme Lord but the material is not real, it is an illusion, everything here is temporary. Even the body which we are owning now is temporary. The Supreme Lord is the only eternal living being in this world or spiritual world. After understanding this truth, one should put more effort and be eager to attain Lord Narayana(Brahman) than simply enjoying the temporary life in this world.

Bahwa di mana ada 'ilusi' alam semesta, seperti 'kota (tercermin) di cermin,' bahwa Brahman Anda berada! Mengetahui hal ini, mencapai pemenuhan hidup Anda.

Seluruh dunia material yang kita jalani adalah cerminan dari dunia spiritual. Semua makhluk hidup di dunia spiritual adalah abadi dan mereka adalah rekanan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa tetapi materinya tidak nyata, itu adalah ilusi, semuanya di sini bersifat sementara. Bahkan tubuh yang kita miliki sekarang hanya sementara. Tuhan Yang Maha Esa adalah satu-satunya makhluk hidup yang kekal di dunia ini atau dunia spiritual. Setelah memahami kebenaran ini, seseorang harus lebih berupaya dan bersemangat untuk mencapai Dewa Narayana (Brahman) daripada sekadar menikmati kehidupan sementara di dunia ini.

பிரபஞ்சத்தின் 'மாயை', கண்ணாடியில் ஒரு 'நகரம் (பிரதிபலித்தது) போல,' நீங்கள் அந்த பிரம்மம்! இதை அறிந்து, உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையின் நிறைவை அடையுங்கள்.

நாம் வாழும் முழு பொருள் உலகமும் ஆன்மீக உலகின் பிரதிபலிப்பாகும். ஆன்மீக உலகில் வாழும் அனைத்து உயிரினங்களும் நித்தியமானவை, அவை உயர்ந்த இறைவனின் கூட்டாளி ஆனால் பொருள் உண்மையானதல்ல, அது ஒரு மாயை, இங்கே எல்லாம் தற்காலிகமானது. இப்போது நாம் வைத்திருக்கும் உடல் கூட தற்காலிகமானது. இந்த உலகில் அல்லது ஆன்மீக உலகில் நித்திய ஜீவன் மட்டுமே உயர்ந்த இறைவன். இந்த உண்மையை புரிந்து கொண்ட பிறகு, ஒருவர் இந்த உலகில் தற்காலிக வாழ்க்கையை அனுபவிப்பதை விட அதிக முயற்சி எடுத்து, நாராயணனை (பிரம்மத்தை) அடைய ஆர்வமாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
