Akasa Raju receives Srinivasa
The entire Narayanapuram was covered with shady pandals.. Green leaves banners were tied, grand illuminations were made on all the four sides and drawing with pearls drawn. The entire place presented a festive appearance. Different musical instruments were played. Sumangalis applied scented paste and got Padmavathi bathed in the scented water. They dressed her with beautiful and costly silk clothes and decorated her ornaments made of gold, diamonds and etc.
Meanwhile, a messenger came there and informed that bridegroom's party were nearing the place. Akasa Raju marched towards them accompanied by his ministers, subordinate Rajahs, and with Nadaswara music. He meet them halfway and brought Srinivasa to his palace on a well decorated elephant in a procession moving along the main roads of Narayanapuram. On arrival near the palace he was allotted a beautiful cottage for stay.
Similarly, Saraswathi and Brahma, Parvathi and Maheswara and Devas, rishis and etc were also allotted appropriate camps for stay. Grand feasts were also arranged for all of them. All of them were very comfortably placed and well attended to.
Having this arranged facilities for the guests, Akasa Raju was then busy collecting and arranging the materials such as coconuts, fruits, flowers, betel leaves and etc required for marriage.
