Sri Srinivasa's Brahmotsavam
When Srinivasa entered the temple built by Thondaman, Brahma himself lit two akhanda jyothis and said that those jyothis would be burning till the end of kaliyuga. He said, "O, Lord I have a desire to celebrate an utsava/festival for you."
Srinivasa said, "What ever you do will always benefit the universe. You may fulfil your desire."
Brahma said, "You must promise me that you would protect all those who pray for your help and give them health, wealth and happiness." Srinivasa agreed.
