Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 558
सदात्मनि ब्रह्मणि तिष्ठतो मुनेः

sadātmani brahmaṇi tiṣṭhato muneḥ
pūrṇādvayānandamayātmanā sadā |
na deśakālādyucitapratīkṣā

(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 558)
The sage who is firmly established in the eternal Reality, Brahman, as Infinite, non-dual Bliss, depends not on the usual consideration of place, time, etc. for giving up this bundle of skin, flesh, and excrement.
A pure devotee who has no other obligation than keep on thinking about serving the Supreme Lord has no other interest in this world. The devotion will never waver. The deep love towards the Lord will never stop him from giving up his body any moment without hesitating because the soul which exists in every living being belongs to the Lord. There is no point of a soul try to secure the body whoch doesn't belong to the soul.
