Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 557

यत्र क्वापि विशीर्णं सत्पर्णमिव तरोर्वपुः पततात् ।
ब्रह्मीभूतस्य यतेः प्रागेव तच्चिदग्निना दग्धम् ॥

yatra kvāpi viśīrṇaṃ satparṇamiva tarorvapuḥ patatāt |
brahmībhūtasya yateḥ prāgeva taccidagninā dagdham ||
(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 557)

The body of a sage, who has realized himself as the Brahman, may wither and fall anywhere like the leaf of a tree; (it matters not) for it has already been burnt by the fire of Knowledge.

A self-realized soul or sage never cares about the comfort of his body because he knows that his Atma(soul) will definitely reach the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Although the body may become dry after the soul's departure from the body like a dry leaf from a tree. For such a great soul it's a great deal to keep the body in a good shape because his body has already burned or purified by the great knowledge of Vedas. Therefore all of us must understand the very first point of Vedas that we are not this body.
