Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 555
जीवन्नेव सदा मुक्तः कृतार्थो ब्रह्मवित्तमः ।
उपाधिनाशाद्ब्रह्मैव सन् ब्रह्माप्येति निर्द्वयम् ॥
jīvanneva sadā muktaḥ kṛtārtho brahmavittamaḥ |
upādhināśādbrahmaiva san brahmāpyeti nirdvayam ||
(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 555)
The perfect knower of Brahman becomes eternally free, even in this life, and is fulfilled; he merges with the non-dual Brahman---which he had been all along---through the destruction of limitations (upadhis).
A self-realized devotee who understands the Supreme Personality of Godhead(Brahman) is eternal free even in this lifetime. Such devotee always regulate himself in pure bhakti of the Lord. There is no way for a pure devotee to get contaminated in this material world. There is no second thought for the pure devotee about the Lord. He fixes his mind. A great devotee who realizes the Supreme Lord will never misinterpret the glories of the Supreme Lord.
