Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 577
इति श्रुत्वा गुरोर्वाक्यं प्रश्रयेण कृतानतिः ।
स तेन समनुज्ञातो ययौ निर्मुक्तबन्धनः ॥
iti śrutvā gurorvākyaṃ praśrayeṇa kṛtānatiḥ |
sa tena samanujñāto yayau nirmuktabandhanaḥ ||
(Sankaracarya's Vivekachudamani 577)
Hearing the words of the Teacher, the disciple prostrated to him with reverence, and obtaining his permission, went his way, freed from bondage.
Anyone who has developed unflinching faith in the Lord and the Guru can understand the revealed scripture unfolding before him'. So continue your present aptitude and you will be successful in your spiritual progress. Hereby Acarya Adi Sankara has explained everything in detail. The disciple who listened to Vivekachudamani left from the association of the guru without any material attachment. In all the previous slokas Sankaracarya has explained clearly about the soul, the connection of the soul with the Supreme Lord and soul's detachment from this world.
