1,100 year-old statue of Ganesha found in Bantul (Indonesia)

"However the first step taken by the researchers are looking at various components inherent in the sculpture statues, ranging ornaments, crowns, to shape," he said again.
Sugeng Riyanto other researchers said the findings spelled Ganesha statues are relatively large compared to the prior art. Age possibilities with Candi Prambanan and Boko.
"The first-used size statue just as high as about 60 centimeters to 70 centimeters," said Sugeng Riyanto.
According to him, it is possible the researchers will conduct penulusuran the traces of historical sites in the local village. However, the move was awaiting the results of a study that will be done because of the discovery of the statue.
"We also need to dig information from citizens," he said.
